This book is about a strong and brave character named Epiffany who is starting college with high hopes of making real changes in the world. From the beginning you could tell there was a mystical piece to the story and this is what kept me intrigued. Epiffany starts to fall in love with one of her professors and the tension between them is filled with passion, desire, and mystery.As the story unfolds, you learn more about the obsession Epiffany has regarding anything spiritual, while at the same time she has a deep seated anger towards Christians. She has legitimate arguments on how the Bible seems so contradictory and finds herself constantly confronting people on the subject.
Meanwhile, her professor, William, is sending her mixed signals. On one hand, he wants to spend all of his free time with her, but on the other hand he says that he is bound forever to another.
While she is falling in love with William, she is oblivious to the fact that strange events are taking place all around her.
The book was interesting, original, and suspenseful. Wolfe wraps the book up nicely and doesn't leave the reader hanging on for answers, only for a desire to keep reading more of the story.
I look forward to more in this series and to see how Epiffany does ultimately change the world.

I loved the book and couldn't put it down once I got started. The favorite for me was the connection Epiffany and William had, you could feel the passion they shared for one another. Can't wait for the next of many books to come from MaLanie Wolfe! Well done!!
I loved this book. I couldn't put it down once I started reading. Absolutely wonderful first novel by Malanie Wolfe and patiently waiting for a second book from this author.
This first novel by author MaLanie Wolfe is a great read, regardless of your religious affiliation. Although fictional, I found it extremely inspiring and thought provoking. It definitely made me want to be a "better" person. I look forward to seeing what this new author comes up with next!
This being a first novel for MaLanie Wolfe it's a fantastic start to what I know will be a prosperous and fulfilling writing career. I look forward to watching this author grow. There are many teachings of tolerance and love hidden between the lines of such a thick and yet elegantly simple plot; Good vs. Evil. Eppifany immediately becomes a part of you. Now, the stage is set. I cannot wait to read the next Sublime Novel!
Lanie Wolfe looks to be a fairly new writer. I found my expectations were honestly exceeded in ways hard to put in a review.
Story set around a girl named Emma, as the synopsis does a great job of giving you the gist of the book, so I won't spend my review selling you on the book content but my experience was moving enough that I do want to share that this is an amazing "spiritual gift" I would say to anyone who would pick it up.
I'm now dying to wait for the "what's next. " I grew up in area of the Midwest, so on a personal note I found it extra interesting, but a friend of mine who read it living on the West Coast found that aspect even more interesting (I had to tell him amazing her details were of the town, the University, etc...this author did her homework).
Emma's story is about "awakening", about finding oneself, young love and remembering what it's like to be that age, then throw in the paranormal meets spiritual with respect to the angle I felt she as an author is taking us on, one of such a respectful universal tone. A spiritual movement that is really grabbing people here in Texas where I live and around the world. It's a fun read, it's a fast read, and I'm just dying to know what's next.
I have a mad crush on Emma, so I hope the new author Lanie Wolfe, keeps us cast into the web of wonderment that is this spiritual divine thing, I'll call "Emma" and how the tone of real life Midwest and college years all intertwine into a fairy tale as much as magical and mystical and spiritual as it just a well written novel.
I have recommended this to friends and family of all faiths, and spiritual types. It's just a a great fun read man and I'm dying for the next "chapter" so to speak. Rarely do I write reviews but I found this book so intriguing and so cleverly written I just felt it important to do so.
