A pleasant reading, not too complex but surely enjoyable
Characters well developed and pleasant, not very complex
Setting a classic fantasy world but with some interesting new ideas
Plot not too complex but not predictable and with so much action that it was not boring at all, unfortunately the protagonist become so rapidly over-powered that the outcome of every confrontation is never in doubt
Overall a good book. It could have used some editing but the story was interesting enough for me to overlook most of it. The book had a good flow to it, though I wish it had more world building in the story.
Loved this story, I liked the original ideas behind it and can't wait for the next one. I was so upset after reading it and discovering this was the only book available
A very nice start to a new series. I enjoyed reading this book and I can't wait for the next one.
Pretty simple and basic plot lines. The character is enjoyable and that's the only saving grace.
It gets tiring mentally correcting grammar and spelling mistakes though.
This book had it's fair share of typos and it borrowed some stuff along the way...but in the end it was a great story and I enjoyed the characters. I would like them fleshed out a bit more and some additional back story would go a long way into making things better. That being said, I applaud the author for following his dream of writing and taking that chance! Well done!
Wonderful, exciting and the fight scenes were very detailed. Can't wait until the second one comes out. Romance could have had more feeling put into it but overall it was a great read.
